Itinerary!

Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Gorges via Ait Ben Haddou Village and Rose Valley

We will pick you up from your hotel or riad at 8:30 in your private air-conditioned car. We will travel over the Atlas Mountains, enjoying the magnificent views along the way, then stop to visit and have a walk around the UNESCO village of Ait Ben Haddou and have lunch, then we will pass through Ouarzazat on our way to the guesthouse in the Dades Valley where we will stay for the night. Day 2: Dades Gorges to Merzouga through Todghra Gorges and Arfoud

After breakfast we will continue our drive through the Dades valley, visiting the Dades Gorge, Tinghir, Todra Gorge and other interesting sites along the way and eventually making our way to Merzouga. In Merzouga we will explore the village and meet our camels who will take us on a 90-minute ride through the Dunes to our desert camp at Erg Chebbi. There you will be greeted with a hot cup of delicious mint tea (AKA "Moroccan whiskey") and we will have a traditional desert dinner followed a drum party and story swapping. The camp is complete with toilet facilities. Those who wish to can sleep directly under the stars, but there are enough tents for everyone. The stars in the desert are a rare treat to behold as the lack of light pollution means you can fully appreciate the glory of the skies above. (Total driving time: 6 hours)

Day 3: Merzouga to Marrakech

Wake up early to see the sunrise and ride the camels back to the village of Merzouga where you will have the occasion to shower before breakfast. Then we will begin our journey through the empty desert and over the Atlas Mountains, with plenty of stops for photos, exploring and lunch. We will arrive in Marrakech at around 6:30 p.m
