Marrakech-Ouirgan and Asni day trip

Visit the Asni and Ouirgan valleys. Asni is well known for the its weekly traditional Berber market, each Saturday, while Ouirgan valley is famous for its dam and Berber villages surrounded by countless olive trees and agriculture. Ouirgan also boasts the very best trekking in Morocco. During this day trip, we will visit a women’s argan cooperative where we have the option to go on a camel ride without having to travel all the way to the Sahara desert. We will also take advantage of a stroll through the myriad beautiful Berber villages that thread their way through the valley.

      THERE ARE ALSO SMALLER BERBER WEEKLY MARKETS TO VISIT ON SATURDAYS AND TUESDAYS

      Our driver and guide will meet you at your Riad or Hotel at 9:00 am in Marrakech after which we will drive southwest toward the Atlas Mountains. Our first stop will be at a picture perfect panorama of the oldest Berber village (give the name of the village here). Here, we will be introduced to the various stages of argan oil production, then climb the hairpin pass where portions of Mission Impossible was filmed to get to the village of Azerg where we will enjoy camel rides.

      We will then continue to enjoy our breathtaking journey to Ouirgan where we will walk through villages, the best way to discover and observe everyday life of the locals.

      Lunch will be served in a Berber home or outside in an orchard ( your choice)
