Morocco Trekking Tour

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your private driver and mountain guide. We travel 1.5 hours into the High Atlas Mountains, arriving in Aremd, a Berber village set at approximately 2,000 metres above the Imlil Valley. After lunch, we settle into our cozy guesthouse. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a gentle acclimatization walk through the village and visit the nearby waterfalls before returning for a traditional Moroccan dinner.

After a traditional Berber breakfast, we begin our trek through walnut groves, stone hamlets, and high mountain pastures. Accompanied by our professional mountain guide and supported by mules, we pause at the sacred shrine of Sidi Chamarouch for lunch before continuing toward the Toubkal Refuge (3207 m). After approximately six hours of hiking, we reach our mountain base, surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the High Atlas. The evening is spent enjoying dinner, resting, and preparing for the summit climb ahead.

Before sunrise, we begin our steady ascent of Mount Toubkal. Reaching the summit at 4,167 metres is an unforgettable achievement, rewarded with sweeping views across the High Atlas and, on clear days, toward the distant Sahara. After time to celebrate, we descend to the refuge for lunch before continuing to Imlil. Following approximately ten hours of hiking, we return to our guesthouse for a traditional Moroccan hammam, a hearty dinner, and a peaceful night’s rest.

After breakfast, we return to Marrakech by private vehicle, a journey of approximately 1.5 hours. With our local city guide, we explore Jemaa el-Fna Square, visit Ben Youssef Madrasa and Bahia Palace, and admire the iconic Koutoubia Mosque before enjoying an authentic tanjia lunch. The afternoon is free to wander through the colorful souks or relax at our beautifully restored riad. The evening is yours to discover Marrakech and enjoy dinner at a restaurant of your choice.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast in the riad courtyard or on the rooftop terrace as Marrakech awakens. Depending on your flight time, you may have time for a final walk through the medina or some last-minute shopping. Our team will be on hand to assist with any plans. Your private driver will then transfer you to Marrakech Menara Airport, concluding a journey filled with personal achievement, authentic encounters, and unforgettable mountain moments.
